Back in September, my wife and I embarked on an extended road trip through some of the western US and a small portion of south west Canada. I took the opportunity to shoot my first rolls of film for quite some time (and my first medium-format film) after having been persuaded by good friend Dan Rubin to branch out a little from digital. Having picked up a slightly battered fully manual Fujica GW690 (6x9 120/220, 90mm / ~45mm equiv) from the late 70s, I loaded up on Kodak Portra 400 and Ektar 100 and, with a little knowledge (but considerably more enthusiasm) and a light meter in hand, shot the scenes below…
Thanks to UK Film Lab for their excellent processing services.
